The sky has turned to smoke.
The ground is shaking.
And then a voice like thunder from the temple,
Telling the seven angels what to do.
My skin is breaking out in painful sores.
They burn like a fire that will not go out.
I look at my hands, and I don't recognize them.
The world is wailing in pain again,
But this time there is no more hope,
Only a screaming resignation.
The bowls are being poured out.
The seas have all turned to blood.
The rivers are poisoned and deadly.
There is nowhere left to hide from the judgment.
The sun is scorching us with its heat,
And the world is just trying to survive the fire.
I can see the ships on the water,
But they are all just dead in the harbor.
The sound of the ocean is gone.
I am on my knees, begging for a cloud to come,
But the sky is a solid, burning sheet of brass.
And still, we do not repent.
And I heard a loud voice from the temple telling the seven angels,
'Go and pour out on the earth the seven bowls of the wrath of God.'
So the first angel went and poured out his bowl on the earth,
and harmful and painful sores came upon the people who had the mark of the beast.
The bowls are being poured out.
The seas have all turned to blood.
The rivers are poisoned and deadly.
There is nowhere left to hide from the judgment.
The sun is scorching us with its heat,
And the world is just trying to survive the fire.
The end has come...
The end...
