The Promise Remains

Lyrics

The ground beneath me starts to crumble

The walls are closing in on me

The world is screaming its opinion

Trying to tell me who I'm meant to be

But I will stand upon Your Word

I will not be shaken by the world

I'm holding on to what is true

And every promise comes from You

What stands when all my hope is gone?

(The Promise Remains!)

(The Promise Remains!)

What holds me when the night is long?

(The Promise Remains!)

What's my foundation, firm and true?

(The Promise Remains!)

What's the reason that I have You?

(The Promise Remains!)

What's my foundation, firm and true?

The seasons change the winds will blow

And every single seed will grow

But I will stand upon this truth

A promise planted in my youth

I will not waver I will not be moved

By every single thing I've been through

I'm holding on to what is true

And every promise comes from You

The Promise Remains

It stands stronger than all my doubt

The Promise Remains

Your love is what I'm singing about

You are a faithful God

And Your Word is enough for me

The Promise Remains

The Promise Remains

Your Word is a fire in my soul

Your love has made my spirit whole

Your Word is a fire in my soul

Your love has made my spirit whole

The Promise Remains

The Promise Remains

Forever and ever

Your love is what I'm singing about

Amen

Amen

Amen
