Soldiers of the Cross

Lyrics

Soldiers! Stand ready! For the Cross, we advance!

I feel the dust of battles underfoot

The rising whispers, trying to make me doubt

But we are not fighting flesh, no, this is not a war of the world

Our shield is truth, an eternal Word unfurled

We hear our Captain's voice, a steady, guiding song

Our feet are planted firm, where we belong

No worldly weapon can ever stand against His glorious word

We carry a fire within, an unquenchable fire stirred

From weakness to strength, we are made courageous by His love

For every soul below, a victory from above

We are! Soldiers of the Cross!

Unashamed! We will endure any cost!

With holy fire! We keep marching on!

By His authority! Our victory is won!

Oh-oh-oh-oh, we keep on marching!

The shadows rise before us, deep and long

But greater is our King, He makes us strong

Through every tribulation, across all barren lands

We move as one army, led by His mighty hands

No turning back, no fear within our hearts

Just pressing forward, into His everlasting light

No worldly weapon can ever stand against His glorious word

We carry a fire within, an unquenchable fire stirred

From weakness to strength, we are made courageous by His love

For every soul below, a victory from above

We are! Soldiers of the Cross!

Unashamed! We will endure any cost!

With holy fire! We keep marching on!

By His authority! Our victory is won!

Oh-oh-oh-oh, we keep on marching!

It is not by might, no, not by our strength

But by His Spirit, the one who goes to any length

From every nation, to the ends of the earth we go

Planting seeds of grace, watching His kingdom grow

Our armor is His truth, our only weapon is His praise

Through every dark valley, and throughout all our days

We are! Soldiers of the Cross! (Yes Lord!)

Unashamed! We will endure any cost! (Never a loss!)

With holy fire! We keep marching on! (We keep marching, oh-oh-oh!)

By His authority! Our victory is won! (The victory is won!)

We are His army! Advancing! Hallelujah!

Soldiers of the Cross! (March on!)

Soldiers of the Cross! (Never stop!)

In His Name! (Victory!)

We advance! (Hallelujah!)
