She Will Not Fail

Lyrics

I felt the shifting, Lord, the earth began to shake

The pressure in the shadows said my weary frame would break

I heard the rushing water, the noise of fear and doubt

And wondered how my weakness could ever see this out

They look at my foundation and they see a fragile shell

But they do not know the secret that my spirit keeps so well

(Shelter) The mountains tremble and the nations move like sand

(Steady) But I am anchored to the safety of Your hand

(Safe) No weapon formed against me will ever take its hold

The promise you have given is worth more than purest gold

She will not fail (Stand fast)

For God is in the middle, standing at her side

She will not fail (Hear that?)

He whispers strength and purpose, nowhere left to hide

She will not fail (Unmoved)

When the morning breaks the darkness, I know that He is near

She will not fail (My rock)

The voice of my Defender overcomes all fear

I often measure weakness, tally up the things I lack

The times my faith deserted and I could not turn back

I try to earn the victory, thinking I must try my best

But You command the battle, and You simply say, "Rest."

I will not trust my striving, my strength is far too small

I simply trust the Power that catches when I fall

(Shelter) The mountains tremble and the nations move like sand

(Steady) But I am anchored to the safety of Your hand

(Safe) No weapon formed against me will ever take its hold

The promise you have given is worth more than purest gold

She will not fail (Stand fast)

For God is in the middle, standing at her side

She will not fail (Hear that?)

He whispers strength and purpose, nowhere left to hide

She will not fail (Unmoved)

When the morning breaks the darkness, I know that He is near

She will not fail (My rock)

The voice of my Defender overcomes all fear

Oh, I will not be moved

No, I will not be moved

He is within her; she will not fail

God will help her at the break of dawn

She will not fail (Never)

She will not fail (Amen)

She will not fail (Faithful)

She will not fail (My God)

Fail
