Scars of Grace

Lyrics

Sometimes we live with broken hearts

Sometimes everything falls apart

God sees the wounds, He sees the pain

And He's come to heal us as we sing

Stop trying so hard to be perfect

God will come and whisper His word

Did you know our value was always in His love?

And our blessings are in the scars?

And these scars are not of shame

They are a beautiful sign

These scars are victory scars

And these scars are finally mine

That is why I count it all joy

The world may see your broken soul

But I see a story that You made whole

How You took the hurt, and You took the fear

And You counted it all joy

Stop trying so hard to be perfect

God will come and whisper His word

Did you know our value was always in His love?

And our blessings are in the scars?

And these scars are not of shame

They are a beautiful sign

These scars are victory scars

And these scars are finally mine

That is why I count it all joy

These scars of grace

Count it all joy

Scars of grace

They are beautiful scars

Just be proud

They'll heal up in His time
