Santa's Assistant

Lyrics

We woke up early, before the first light,

Got a top-secret message that came in the night!

Santa needs help, the workload is deep,

Time to get ready while the whole world's asleep!

My boots are laced up, my jacket is zipped,

Grab my candy cane pencil, my clipboard is clipped!

Gotta make sure the list is perfectly right,

There's so much to do before Santa takes flight!

We are Santa's assistants, moving so fast!

We're wrapping the presents that always will last!

Checking the labels, the ribbon is tied,

Gotta work quicker than reindeer can stride!

Ho ho ho! We're Santa's team!

The elves are all working, the workshop is loud,

Sorting the toys in a busy, big crowd.

But someone must steer all the bags to the sleigh,

And make sure the cocoa is ready all day!

We're up on the roof, we're down in the flue,

We help Santa check off the red and the blue!

This is the job that nobody knows,

The one that we do before Christmas snows!

We are Santa's assistants, moving so fast!

We're wrapping the presents that always will last!

Checking the labels, the ribbon is tied,

Gotta work quicker than reindeer can stride!

Ho ho ho! We're Santa's team!

We're Santa's team!

We're Santa's team!

Christmas elf! Yeah!

Christmas elf!

Christmas elf!

We made the delivery!

Shhh... Merry Christmas!
