Restore Me

Lyrics

Mmm-mmm

The desert is dry and the ground is cracked

I’ve been wandering far and I’m not coming back

But Isaiah said the wilderness will bloom

And the rose will rise out of the gloom.

Restore me, renew me Jesus

Make the parched ground a cooling spring

Restore me, renew me Jesus

Give my heart a new song to sing.

Strengthen the hands that have grown so weak

Give me the words that I need to speak

Say to the fearful, "Be strong, do not fear"

For the glory of the Lord is drawing near.

Restore me, renew me Jesus

Make the parched ground a cooling spring

Restore me, renew me Jesus

Give my heart a new song to sing.

The eyes of the blind will finally see

The ears of the deaf will be set free

The lame will leap like a deer in the field

By Your spirit, every broken part is healed.

There is a Highway of Holiness here

Where the ransomed walk and the path is clear

No more sorrow, no more sighs

Just the light of heaven in our eyes.

Waters will burst in the burning sand

Springs will rise in the thirsty land

I am returning to Zion with joy

A peace that the world cannot destroy.

Restore me, renew me Jesus

Make the parched ground a cooling spring

Restore me, renew me Jesus

Give my heart a new song to sing.

Renew me...

Restore me...

Everlasting joy is on my head.
