Hear The Bells

Lyrics

The quiet air is filled with sound, a joyful noise across the ground!

The silver chimes ring out the news, the happiness we cannot lose!

They call us quickly, one and all, to answer when the Saviour's call!

Let every heart prepare its room, dispelling every winter gloom!

The sound is sweet, the tone is pure, the gospel that will long endure!

From every church and every tower, proclaiming Christ's triumphant hour!

Hear The Bells!

Let the music crash and swell!

Hear The Bells!

All the miracle they tell!

Ring out the story, clear and true, the King of Heaven came for you!

The little Infant rests in grace, with glory shining from His face.

The shepherds saw, the wise men came, to bow and whisper Jesus' name.

The bells ring out the ancient song, where truth and mercy now belong!

No greater music can be made, for hope the world in darkness swayed!

We listen now in deep delight, to peace brought forth upon this night.

The solemn sound, the pure refrain, that Christ has come to ease all pain.

Ring! Ring! Hear The Bells!

Hear The Bells!

Let the music crash and swell!

Hear The Bells!

All the miracle they tell!

Ring out the story, clear and true, the King of Heaven came for you!

Hallelujah!
