Crown Him Lord

Lyrics

Let no shadow fall upon us, cast by darkness or by dread.

Remember how the King of Heaven, came to rest His humble head.

He comes to save us from all malice, and the power of the foe.

He brings the wine into the chalice, making weary spirits glow.

O, the Word that stood eternal, burst forth from the highest sphere!

To clothe Himself in flesh maternal, and dispel all doubt and fear.

No earthly palace was prepared, for the Majesty divine,

But every heavenly host declared, the glory of His perfect sign.

Crown Him Lord!

Lift your voices, swords outpoured!

Crown Him Lord!

Heaven and earth shall bow! His mighty reign begins right now!

Heaven and earth shall bow! His mighty reign begins right now!

He is Alpha, He is Omega, Lord of Time and Endless Grace.

He is the King from the house of David, who redeems the human race.

Agnus Dei, Qui tollis peccata mundi...

Crown Him Lord!

Forever and forevermore!
