Christ Is Come

Lyrics

Lift your banners, sound the horn! The Light of Heaven is new born!

From the Father's heart descending, (He descended!) to the straw and silent cold.

Our salvation, never ending, (Never ending!) greater than all silver, gold.

He is God, yet wrapped in linen, Son of Man, yet He is King.

Every promise is beginning, let the great Te Deum ring!

Christ Is Come! Let the wide world shout!

Christ Is Come! All our fear casts out!

Gloria Patri! Power and wonder!

The Savior's reign begins today, no power can take Him under!

We run with joy to Bethlehem's door, to see the wonder of His face.

To thank the Lord and to adore, the Author of all time and space.

O mystery deep, O truth profound, the greatest gift beneath the sun!

Let voices ring from ground to ground, God's perfect work is now begun!

Hear the truth the angels teach: That He shall rule from sea to sea.

The Living Word beyond our speech, came down for all humanity.

Christ Is Come!

Christ Is Come!

Christ Is Come!

Christ Is Come!

Christ Is Come!

Christ Is Come!

The Savior's reign begins today, no power can take Him under!

Christ Is Come!

Christ Is Come!

Christ Is Come!

Hallelujah!
